There are truly no words strong enough to fully capture the depth of our gratitude for the incredible care you provided to Ron during one of the most difficult times in his life-and in ours as a family. From the very beginning, you all showed an extraordinary level of professionalism, compassion, and expertise that went far beyond what we ever could have hoped for. Watching a loved one be dependent on a ventilator is something no family is ever prepared for. It's a frightening and uncertain experience, but thanks to each of you, we never felt alone.

The process of weaning him off the vent was long, emotional, and at times overwhelming, but the way you worked with him-encouraging him, monitoring him so closely, adjusting every little setting with such care, and explaining each step to us-made all the difference. Your knowledge and calm presence gave us hope when we needed it most. You weren't just doing your jobs; you were giving our dad a second chance at life, and giving us back the man we love so much. What touched us most was how you treated him like a whole person, not just a patient in a bed. You respected his dignity every step of the way. You listened to him, made him laugh, comforted him when he was anxious, and pushed him gently but firmly when he needed motivation. In doing so, you didn't just help him come off the ventilator-you helped bring him back to life, back to being the devoted husband and father we know and miss.

We have our Ron back. He's talking, breathing, and slowly regaining his strength. We get to see his smile again, hear his voice again, and sit with him knowing that each breath he takes is his own. That miracle is because of all of you. Your team is made up of some of the most compassionate and skilled people we've ever encountered, and we will never forget the role you played in this chapter of his life.
